My discovery of San Pellegrino fruit flavoured soft drinks started a creative journey for me which was inspired by the colours of the drink cans and their little foil covers.

I started to play around scanning the coloured foil tops and experimenting with the scanner speed and how placed and moved the coloured foil tops around.  The result was a collection of zig zag patterns which were manipulated in Photoshop to create a series designs that could be used on fabric.

I loved this process and had great fun in the making of my designs. I had some designs printed onto silk to make vibrant scarves and colourful cushion.
